When you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma, the effects often spread into multiple areas of your life. You're canceling plans because the anxiety feels too overwhelming, staying in bed because depression has drained your motivation, avoiding phone calls, second-guessing yourself constantly, or always on edge because past trauma keeps you hypervigilant. These feelings have crossed beyond normal stress, and now they are affecting your work, relationships, and daily routine.

I'm an LMSW with over five years of experience helping adults address the specific ways these symptoms are disrupting their daily functioning. My background includes providing assessment, therapy, and case management in inpatient behavioral health, outpatient primary care, skilled nursing facilities, and community social work. This varied experience has given me hands-on knowledge of crisis intervention and the complex interplay between physical and mental health.

We'll work together to help you learn concrete skills to navigate life with more ease. I've seen how deeply our environment and systems shape our wellbeing, and I know that lasting change comes from addressing both the symptoms affecting your daily life and the deeper patterns maintaining them.

My focus is on identifying exactly what's not working—whether it's panic attacks that derail your day, intrusive thoughts that keep you up at night, or avoidance patterns that are shrinking your world—and building new behavior patterns that help you feel truly grounded. Using CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches, we'll work together to understand what's driving these symptoms and create concrete strategies you can practice. This means identifying the triggers, understanding the patterns, and then systematically building new responses.

I take time to get to know you and understand your value system. We'll explore what's important to you so the strategies we build align with your values and goals. We'll work with both your emotional experience and your behaviors—understanding your feelings while also building new patterns. You'll leave sessions with specific things to work on. Not just insight, but actionable steps toward change. This collaborative approach ensures that the treatment plan we develop is practical and truly effective for you.

I work particularly well with people who are feeling stuck and ready for something different. I also enjoy working with people who are going through major life changes or unexpected events. I'm committed to helping you address these challenges and empowering you to face whatever comes next. I'm currently accepting new clients and offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. I accept insurance and also offer a sliding scale for out-of-pocket payments. You can contact me via phone, text, or email to talk further and find out if we would be a good fit.
